SoriStory uses Google's Gemini AI to generate personalised stories. All AI-generated content is processed through built-in safety filters designed to produce age-appropriate, family-friendly material.
While we strive for high-quality, safe output, AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected results. We continuously improve our safety measures to minimize such occurrences.
2. Age-Appropriate Content
Content is tailored to the Listener Age set in the user's profile:
- Under 13: Simple vocabulary, gentle themes, no violence or scary content. Topics include adventure, bedtime, friendship, and humour.
- Ages 13–17: Young-adult themes including identity, personal growth, and coming-of-age stories. No explicit content.
- Ages 18+: Broader themes including life challenges, relationships, and personal reflection. Content remains respectful and constructive.
3. Content Safety Measures
We employ multiple layers of content safety:
- AI Safety Filters: Google Gemini's built-in safety settings block harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, and dangerous content at the generation level.
- Prompt Guardrails: System prompts instruct the AI to produce wholesome, educational, and entertaining stories appropriate for the user's age.
- Content Review: We periodically review generated content patterns to improve safety measures.
4. Prohibited Content
SoriStory does not knowingly generate or distribute content that:
- Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Contains sexually explicit material
- Encourages self-harm or dangerous activities
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains personal or private information about real individuals
- Promotes illegal activities
5. User-Created Content
Users provide text prompts that guide AI story generation. Users are responsible for ensuring their prompts do not attempt to circumvent our safety measures. We reserve the right to restrict access for users who repeatedly attempt to generate prohibited content.
6. Voice Cloning
SoriStory's Voice Lab feature allows users to clone voices for narration. Users must:
- Only clone voices they have legal rights to use (their own voice or voices with explicit consent)
- Not use cloned voices for deception, fraud, or impersonation
- Not distribute cloned voice recordings outside the app without appropriate consent
