Diamonds and Toads

Two sisters meet the same fairy in disguise at the spring. The kind younger one offers water gladly and finds roses and jewels falling with her words, while rude Fanchon earns toads and snakes instead. Sweet speech wins a prince, and kindness proves its own reward.
