Shim Cheong

Devoted Shim Cheong offers herself to the sea so three hundred sacks of rice can restore her blind father's sight. The Dragon King, moved by such love, sends her home in a lotus flower to become Empress, and her reunion opens her father's eyes at last, in every sense.
